The Honeysuckle Moon Self Care + Spa wellness practice began in my Mother’s kitchen in our Louisiana hometown, while on a sabbatical away from the corporate demands and stressors of life as a single mother with knowledge of self.

My compromised health was the price, demanding a lifestyle shift. I was forced to change both what I put into my body and what types of products I applied to my skin.

20 years later, I’m happy to share that I remain on the path… Healthier. Happier. Feeling more and more like Honey everyday. 

Being born amidst the rich and mystical nature of the Louisiana bayou, eco therapy has always been a part of me. The smells and sounds are unlike anyplace on the planet.

Caring for myself + the women in my family + community through the application our many shared Indigenous + African home remedies and approaches to wellbeing has always been a part of me. This is the greatest gift I have to share with my daughter and everyone who chooses the path of healing with nature.

Meditating on my Ancestors’ mineralized land afforded me the reawakening of my Indigenous frequency and so began my journey as an herbalist and plant-based wellness professional. This lead me to creating my skin care brand and organic wellness experience, the Roots, Trees and Flowers Herban Wellness Lounge.

Natural beauty theory + practices, herbal wisdom, and self care + spa ritual are the essential pillars we employ to provide exceptional care and support local + global communities across the United States, the Caribbean, South America, South Africa and Ghana, West Africa.
